These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Deshi Delights website, mobile applications, and marketplace platform (together, the “Platform”), operated by Deshi Delights Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (“Deshi Delights”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. ABOUT DESHI DELIGHTS

Deshi Delights operates an online marketplace that enables Bangladeshi brands, SMEs, and artisans (“Brands” or “Vendors”) to sell products to customers located internationally (“Customers”).

Deshi Delights acts as:

  • The marketplace operator
  • The merchant of record for international customers
  • The coordinator of end-to-end logistics, customs clearance, duties, and final delivery
  1. ELIGIBILITY & USER ACCOUNTS

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
2.3 You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information at all times.

  1. PRODUCTS & PRICING

3.1 All products listed on the Platform are supplied by independent Brands.
3.2 Prices displayed include applicable international shipping, duties, and taxes unless otherwise stated.
3.3 Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided by Brands. While we take reasonable care, Deshi Delights does not guarantee that all descriptions are error-free.

  1. ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE

4.1 Orders placed on the Platform constitute an offer to purchase.
4.2 An order is accepted only when you receive an order confirmation email.
4.3 Deshi Delights reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order due to availability, pricing errors, compliance issues, or suspected fraud.

  1. PAYMENT

5.1 Payments must be made using approved payment methods displayed on the Platform.
5.2 Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers.
5.3 Deshi Delights does not store full payment card details.

  1. DELIVERY & LOGISTICS

6.1 Deshi Delights manages international logistics from Bangladesh to the destination country.
6.2 Estimated delivery timelines are indicative and not guaranteed.
6.3 Delays may occur due to customs clearance, weather, airline schedules, or regulatory inspections.

  1. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.1 All content on the Platform, including trademarks, logos, text, and designs, belongs to Deshi Delights or its licensors.
8.2 Brands retain ownership of their respective product intellectual property.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1 Deshi Delights shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
9.2 Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant order.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

Deshi Delights shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.

  1. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
